M. Scott GillisSenior Managing DirectorFor over 20 years, Scott has been advising chief executives and board-level management on the strategic, operating and organizational changes needed to deliver superior shareholder returns.
Scott is a recognized authority on improving corporate performance in both the customer and capital markets and has extensive experience in consumer products, food and beverage, financial services, retailing, broad-based industrials, chemicals, aerospace and defense. Scott co-founded Galt & Company. Prior to consulting, Scott was a founding member of a publicly traded US oil and gas company and worked as an exploration geophysicist.
Scott is a graduate of the Harvard Business School, earned a geophysical engineering degree from the Colorado School of Mines and is a Cecil H. Green Award recipient.
Lee MergySenior Managing DirectorLee has more than two decades worth of experience helping top management of leading global corporations make the strategic and operational changes that deliver superior shareholder returns.
Lee’s industry experience includes consumer products, food and beverage, packaging, paper and forest products, financial services, telecommunications and pharmaceuticals. Lee co-founded Galt & Company. Prior to consulting, Lee was an economic analyst in Washington, D.C. and worked as an engineer and manager at General Dynamics.
Lee has a Master’s in Public and Private Management from the Yale School of Management and an aerospace engineering degree from the University of Kansas.
Joe ShalleckSenior Managing DirectorJoe has over 20 years experience helping companies build the strategies and organizational capabilities to sustain winning shareholder returns. Joe has depth of experience in financial services, basic and engineered materials, industrial products, aerospace and consumer products. Joe co-founded Galt & Company. Prior to consulting, Joe held engineering and management positions at Corning and GE.
Joe has an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and an industrial engineering degree from Lehigh.
Larry JonesManaging DirectorLarry has 15 years of consulting experience providing practical advice to top business leaders on high-value strategic, organizational and operational issues.
Larry’s industry experience includes consumer products, food and beverage, financial services, retail, healthcare and pharmaceuticals.
Larry has an MBA from the University of Chicago and an accounting degree from Indiana University.
Michael ChooManaging DirectorMichael has seven years of consulting experience providing advice to management on high-value strategic, organizational and operational issues.
Michael has led domestic and international consulting engagements for clients in consumer products, wine and spirits, medical diagnostics and heavy industrials.
Michael has an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and an economics degree from Yale.
Eric ArmourManaging DirectorEric is an experienced change agent with industry expertise in consumer products, financial services, technology, pharmaceuticals and industrial businesses. Eric has over 14 years of experience in consulting to the top management of Fortune 500 companies on strategic, financial and organizational opportunities to improve shareholder value. Prior to joining Galt, Eric spent 10 years in industry, including two Division General Manager roles in Consumer Products and Technology.
Eric graduated from the Harvard Business School, with the distinction of Baker Scholar and earned a Bachelor of Science degree with high distinction from the U.S. Naval Academy.
